Server Wipe Schedule changed!
We initiated a poll to see if you guys would like to see the wipe schedule changed. We've had some problems with population numbers dropping significantly about 2 weeks before each wipe, so maybe it would be best to have another wipe around that time. It looks like you agreed with us on that. You can see the poll results down here:
But this month the schedule is going to be a bit different, because the game is going out of Early Access on the 8th of February. This means all servers are going to wipe that day. (BP & Map) Because of this we have decided to not wipe BP's on the 1st of February, so players can do a bit more than just farm scrap to get some blueprints. Because of this forced wipe on the 8th, we won't wipe again on the 15th. Luckily the month is a bit shorter, so we'll soon be in March, running the schedule as planned.
The current map: 3500/54564
This wipe we chose for another 3500 map, because a bigger map would be too big for our current player count. With the map size scaled down a bit it's a bit harder to find a map with enough large monuments. But this seed should satisfy those needs. As you can see there's the Launch Site, the Dome, the Water treatment plant, Satellite and a Train Yard. Apart from these big monuments there are 3 Gas Stations, 3 Supermarkets, 3 Warehouses, 2 Lighthouses and 2 Harbors. When choosing this seed we were looking for a seed with a good distribution of the monuments and enough room for new players to set up camp somewhere relatively safe. We hope you enjoy this map!
